That means the filament lasts longer. You get this deep, steady infrared wave that goes straight into the material.&#xA;Plus, if you&amp;rsquo;ve got a PID controller, it plays really well with this setup. You can dial in your temperature and it&amp;rsquo;ll stay there—no annoying overshooting.&#xA;&lt;strong&gt;Why carbon?&lt;/strong&gt;&#xA;We went with carbon fiber instead of the &lt;a href=&#34;https://o-yate.net&#34;&gt;usual&lt;/a&gt; nichrome. Why? Because carbon just handles the heat better. Whether you&amp;rsquo;re running a drying tunnel or a large oven, it covers the ground you need. To keep everything safe and clean, we wrap the whole thing in high-purity quartz. It keeps the oxygen away from the filament so it doesn&amp;rsquo;t oxidize and die.&#xA;&lt;strong&gt;A few things to keep in mind for the install.&lt;/strong&gt;&#xA;This is a simple drop-in replacement for most 800mm industrial heaters.
