The Nitty-Gritty

The wattage is matched to the tube length—so a 300mm tube, for example, is around 2500W. That gives you predictable heat output for the space it takes up. It means you get a quick warm-up and steady performance. But, and this is important, it also means your control system and cooling setup need to be ready to handle that thermal punch.

What’s Inside

The quartz envelope is built for the heat. It can take high temperatures and handles the shock of rapid on-off cycling without cracking. Inside, the carbon filament throws off a broad infrared spectrum that just works with a lot of materials. We also fill the tube with halogen gas. This helps stop the filament from evaporating, which keeps the output consistent over time. And for the connection? We use an R7s connector. It’s industrial-grade, straightforward, and makes it easy to wire the tube right into your existing fixture. A straight swap, no fuss.
