You’ll see these listed by wattage and voltage. It sounds straightforward, but here’s the thing: don’t just grab the highest wattage you can find. Sure, more power means faster heating, but it also puts a lot of stress on your power supply. If you push a lamp beyond what your machine was built for, you’re asking for trouble. You’ll likely end up with melted connectors or a burnt-out filament. Just make sure your wiring and contactors can actually handle the peak load before you flip the switch. The build and the fit We use high-purity quartz glass because it lets those IR waves slide right through without getting trapped. Some of our lamps even have special coatings to help the heat sink deeper into whatever material you’re working on. When it comes to installation, we stick with R7s or Sk15 bases. They’re designed to be simple drop-in replacements for most IR ovens. But a word of advice:**make sure that connection is tight.**If there’s even a tiny gap in the socket, you get resistance.
