When you only need a small, precise spot of warmth—and you don’t want to melt your entire chassis in the process—this 15W setup is exactly what you’re looking for. Why carbon fiber? Most people are used to old-school nichrome wire, but we went with carbon fiber for the core. It’s lighter and reacts way faster. The real magic, though, is how the heat feels. It emits infrared radiation that actually sinks deeper into surfaces. That’s why these are a go-to for sauna and wellness gear. Plus, carbon fiber handles the “stretch and shrink” of heating and cooling much better than metal. It doesn’t just snap when you flick the power on and off. The power side of things Since it only pulls 15W, the current stays low. It’s a huge relief for your power supply. You can wire a bunch of these in parallel and not have to worry about blowing a fuse or overloading the system. Just keep in mind: these are tiny. You aren’t getting a broad wash of warmth here; you’re getting a concentrated, targeted heat spot. Making it work for you We know every project is different. If you’ve got a tight space, we can tweak the length or change the connector so it actually fits your housing without a fight. One quick heads-up, though. At 15W, this is for maintenance or warming up a specific spot. It’s not going to heat up a whole room. If you’re trying to warm up a large enclosure, you’ll either need a whole army of these or something with more wattage. Also, double-check your mounting brackets. Make sure they can take the heat. Carbon fiber gets hot, and if the air can’t move around the lamp, your housing might start to degrade faster than you’d like.
