It pumps out 2500W across a 1260mm stretch, using carbon fiber to give you that medium-to-long wave heat. Why carbon fiber? Here’s the thing about tungsten: it tends to get way too hot in the middle. Carbon fiber is different. It spreads the heat evenly across the whole 1.26 meters. No more annoying “hot spots.” Plus, because that power is spread out, the tube doesn’t just burn itself out when you’re running long cycles. It’s built to last. The nitty-gritty on the build We use the SK15 base because, frankly, friction-fit connectors are a headache. The SK15 locks in tight. If your machinery shakes or vibrates—which, let’s be honest, most industrial gear does—this thing isn’t going anywhere. As for the glass, we use high-purity quartz. It handles the heat expansion of the filament without cracking. Just a heads-up: don’t hit the hot glass with cold water, or you’ll have a bad time. Putting it to work If you’ve got a large-scale drying or curing oven, this is usually a simple drop-in replacement. The medium-wave heat is the secret sauce here—it actually gets deeper into your materials than short-wave options do. But a quick word of advice. 2500W puts off alotof ambient heat. Make sure your fans and vents are up to the task so you don’t melt your housing. Also, carbon fiber can be a bit picky about power spikes. Grab a stable voltage regulator, and your lamp will live a much longer, happier life.
